Stefan Rohe (funkwerk): Performance Tricks with Dlang (slides)
Recent performance publications from the dlang [www.dlang.org] community sound quite promising. Students write libraries that are faster than well tuned professional code. They announced to have:
– faster regular expression algorithm (faster than googles V8)
– fastest Matrix Operations (faster then libMKL)
– fastest webserver for massive parallel requests
Let’s shed some light behind this and extract the pattern they use to achieve such performance boosts.
About the speaker: Stefan Rohe is the first commercial D programmer and is doing Passenger Information Systems. He fell in love with D 2008 and still uses it day by day.
Markus Dlugi (RETIT): Continuous Performance Evaluation using Open Source Tools (slides)
In this talk, we will have a look at how a pipeline for continuous performance evaluations can be designed using only open source software. We will present best practices and experiences gained in the course of multiple customer projects and also explain the general workflow in a demo.
About the speaker: Markus Dlugi is a Junior Software Performance Consultant at RETIT GmbH. He is a DevOps enthusiast and enjoys optimizing code just as much as tweaking deployment pipelines. He also implemented a custom Jenkins plugin as part of his Master’s thesis on “Detecting Performance Change in Continuous Integration Systems”.
Noch sind wenige Plätze frei, sichern Sie sich Ihre Teilnahme hier. Wir freuen uns, Sie dort zu treffen!
