Webinar @malt-academy: Performance Fundamentals in the Age of Cloud Computing – What to look for and how to measure it?
Originally, RETIT’s move to our new offices would have been celebrated by the 23. Software Performance Meetup this month. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, this will of course not be possible in the foreseeable future. We are however evaluating alternatives and will keep you up to date here and on our meetup-page.
In the meantime, we would like to provide all performance workers with opportunities for exchange. For a start, tomorrow, 07.04.2020, between 14:00 and 15:00 CET we will offer the webinar “Performance Fundamentals in the Age of Cloud Computing – What to look for and how to measure it?”. The event will be held via Zoom as part of the Malt-Academy. The talk was already given during our 20th Software Performance Meetup at Google last year, but will this way become conveniently available for everybody who could not participate and is interested in the foundations of software performance. Even from home office:
Performance Fundamentals in the Age of Cloud Computing – What to look for and how to measure it? (Bernhard Lubomski, RETIT)
This talk is dealing with the most fundamental questions you need to ask yourself when you want to evaluate the performance of your software system. It doesn’t matter if you are working on a mobile app, a website, a service or some background logic. We will cover metrics and tools that can help you to analyze the software performance of your system across the whole application lifecycle. We will focus especially on the challenges that arise by the fact that you don’t run your applications yourself anymore in the age of cloud computing.
We are looking forward to seeing you online!
